点值是指货币对的最小价格变动，点值的分数或“'十分之一点'（pipettes）”除外。
对于大多数货币对，1个点是0.0001； 美元/日元等货币对的日元对1点等于0.01。 交易金属时， 黄金白银1点是0.01。
当欧元/美元从1.0925升至1.0926时，变化为1点。 如果采用5位数字的价格，则如果EUR / USD从1.09255升至1.09260，则涨幅仅为半点。
